After the excellent results of the challenging performance of Manuel de Falla’s opera “Master Peter´s Puppet Show”, the “Orquesta Académica de Madrid” found an unsurpassed complement in those responsible for the stage direction, the lighting design, the direction of choir and musical repetition, the wardrobe, etc.

The whole coordination of that project, its artistic and musical direction in charge of Íñigo Pírfano, qualifies the Orchestra to tackle projects of greater magnitude, having in its ranks young singers, who have just finished or are about to finish their studies in the main European schools, capable of bringing about that summit of the musical art to the general public.

One of the incontestable advantages we have in Spain today is the existence of theatres with all the requirements for the accomplishment of opera productions. Luckily, the opera in Spain seems to play an increasingly prominent role with renewed energy.
